Mark Attwood’s Poetry Videos

I’ve finally found a complete list with links to Mark Attwood’s Poetry Videos, so I’m sharing it with you!

I love his poems, but they’re extreme and have swearing, so I know they won’t be for anyone. I hope you enjoy them if you give them a try.

Instant Pot Nobiletin

There are a lot of versions of this recipe floating around, but I hadn’t seen one for the Instant Pot, so I tried it out and this is what I came up with. Feel free to play with it and tweak the cooking time to make it weaker or stronger. The versions I have seen elsewhere use crockpots or stovetop methods.

I’ve included a few links at the bottom that explains the technical aspects of the compound and what it might do to/for the human body.

**Disclaimer: This is a natural derived supplement and is not meant to treat or cure any disease.**

Instant Pot Nobiletin

*Nobiletin: A flavonoid isolated from citrus peels.*

WARNING: Consult doctor if you’re on medication that can be affected by grapefruit

  • Rinds/peels of 2 grapefruits (organic preferred)
  • Rinds/peels of 5-6 organic lemons
  • Enough water to cover rinds/peels

**Alternate/Addition: mandarian orange and tangerine rinds/peels contain a strong concentration of Nobiletin and can be added or can supplement for other ingredients if desired.**

  1. Wash citrus (if not organic, with hot water, soap, and a scrub brush, or soak to remove any wax).
  2. Peel grapefruits and lemon, removing as much meat/pulp as possible. (You can make lemonade or grapefruitade (same as lemonade, but made with grapefruit juice) with the insides of the citrus to keep from wasting it, or juice it and keep in a jar for other purposes.)
  3. Place rinds/peels in the inner pot, pour in enough water to reach the top/cover the fruit without going over the limit mark.
  4. Put the lid on, seal, and cook on High Pressure for 35 minutes (longer if you want it stronger).
  5. Let stand to do Full Natural Release.
  6. Remove inner pot from Instant Pot and sit it somewhere to cool.
  7. Once cooled, strain out rinds/peels, and put liquid in glass jars.
  8. Refrigerate what you can use within 2 weeks and freeze the rest. (You can freeze in bags if you don’t want to do worry about jars breaking in freezer.)
  9. Take 2 Tablespoons in the morning and evening. (Start with partial and build up to make sure you have no negative effects.)

Change – You Are Responsible For You

Change – You Are Responsible For You

By Rebecca Besser

2020 has been a year where nothing is normal. The year where everything you know has been changed. The year where everyone has changed in some way. Nothing will ever be exactly the same again. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing… Change is how we grow, and not all change is bad. Even positive change is sometimes painful. (And no, I’m not talking about the “New Normal.” That’s bullshit.) I’m talking about spiritual growth, intellectual growth, awareness growth, etc.

Everyone has either grown or gone defunct because they were unable to grow, change, and adapt. There have been a lot of choices made on a lot of different levels.

I hope you’ve been one of the people who have grown; I know I have.

I’ve always been an outlier…someone who thinks for themselves and doesn’t follow the crowd. A loner. A weirdo. Someone who has always been seen as a little different. And I’ve always been okay with that.

I don’t want to be part of the establishment. I don’t want to be part of the system that does things just to do them when no one knows why. I’m good not being a part of “we’ve always done it this way” and “go along to get along.”

That’s not me.

That will never be me.

I’m not going to do things because people say I should when there’s no good reason. I use my brain and question everything all the time. This also has me learning and changing all the time, as well.

It’s clear the deeper we get into 2020 that there are a lot of people that do go along to get along and do what they’re told without question.

It makes me sad.

I’m sad because people aren’t using their brains. I’m sad because people can’t think for themselves. I’m sad people don’t question things.

Everyone should question everything.

Do research.

You are responsible for you, what you know, and how you respond.

No one else is to blame for your decisions. Just you.

You are responsible for yourself and your life.

Stop believing everything you’re being told on the surface. Because, as someone who has been doing a lot of digging, I can tell you that you’re being lied to. We all are. And we have been for a long time.

Dig, learn, grow, question, stretch, test, rebel… Do anything except accept everything you’re told as fact. Research what you think is true and what you think isn’t. Then, decide for yourself what you believe.

Because, again, you are responsible for you.

The Order by Rebecca Besser

Rebecca Besser

I woke up and found myself in darkness.

They were all around me.

Their faces were missing, void below their eyes as if someone had peeled away their nose and mouth, leaving a void of rippling skin healed in disfiguring patterns.

They motioned to me in a come-hither way, beckoned me to join them, inviting and beseeching me to be like them, because they could no longer be like me. Their humanity had been stolen from them. Now…they were creatures of the order. Their breath and their smiles had been stolen, leaving them expressionless and barren of voice.

Their eyes were watery…emotional. Their gazes locked on me like I was the only thing of import. Their focus was unnerving; there seemed to be a desperation in their unwavering attention.

They beckoned more forcefully, their eyebrows dipping in the center, between their eyes, into a frown. Their pain fueled anger was like a thick fog in the air.

I shook my head no and took a step back, unwilling to give up my humanity just to appease them. I didn’t want to lose my breath or my voice. The order wasn’t worth it.

The order was based on false safety.

They had failed to see that until it was too late for them.

They moved toward me… Those who were once men, women, and children, now a faceless crowd of obedience. Their alliance was to lies, believing they were safe.

They didn’t understand they were the most at risk… The commander now knew they could be used at will, to whatever end suited the purpose, the order.

They no longer had a voice, after all. They could no longer say no.

I pushed my way through them.

They clawed at my face, my mouth, trying to force me to obey the order, trying to break me with violence and fear. They tried to keep me where I was at their mercy.

I broke free, running through the darkness, toward the twinkle of light off in the distance.

I ran, knowing they were at my heels, knowing the commander wouldn’t let them stop until I too obeyed.

They couldn’t catch me, unable to breathe—their stamina waned quickly.

I broke through the darkness to find a vast open space, warmed by the sun. I breathed deeply and smiled at the people who were there.

They smiled back; they too were still human, they too were free.

I wasn’t the only one who hadn’t obeyed the order.

Author Lee Andrew Taylor

Lee Andrew Taylor was born in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, in 1969, moving to Bedworth, Warwickshire at the age of 9. All his life he’s had a passion for creating things, whether it was new games to play with family and friends, drawing, or creating a story.

It was 1993 when Lee first dabbled in writing as an adult. He was at college when someone asked if he would enter a writing contest with other students. He agreed, and that’s when the first idea for his killer rats novel – The S.T.A.R.S Project – came about. He wrote around 30 pages and kept the story safe. In 1999, at the age of 30, Lee bought his first computer from a friend and immediately got down to writing a story that was growing inside his head from when he watched his first zombie movie as a child. CLIFTON FALLS – was originally finished in 2001, but wasn’t released until around 2011. It was taken down from sale around 2015 after a few problems with a publisher, but Lee is hoping to re-release it as a 2-part novel in 2021. Since then Lee has written – BEDBUGS (Can you see them?) – A story based on his childhood fear of the old saying – Night, night, sleep tight & don’t let the bedbugs bite – Where he thought the bedbugs were really going to bite him if he didn’t sleep tight.

Both novels are only available in Audio right now but Bedbugs will be re-released around July of 2020.

Lee also writes movie scripts, with the likes of Elijah Wood’s & Joe Dante’s production companies’ asking to read them. He spoke to the director of the Sharknado movies on Skype about his Bedbugs idea and has written a TV, sci-fi, horror pilot for a production company in the UK. He is hoping to write the rest of the TV series when it gets put into production.

New Release – What Hell May Come by Rex Hurst

What Hell May Come

by Rex Hurst

Based on the untrue writings of the Satanic Panic.

The Satanic Panic was a moral outcry in the United States over supposed “satanic” influence in media that were warping the youth of America. Claims that playing an elf in Dungeons and Dragons could lead to demonic possession, that playing heavy metal music backwards would reveal satanic messages, and that therapists could uncover repressed memories of satanic ritual abuse, were all too common.

Volumes and volumes of material were produced on this fake subject. These texts lead to What Hell May Comewhich takes a look at what the world would actually be like if all of the claims of the satanic panic were true.

Set in 1986, Jon St. Fond’s life is a living Hell. Deliberately abused and neglected by his parents, the only joy he has in life is an escape into a fantasy land of role playing games. Soon he discovers that his parents are part of a secret occult religion with hidden ties all across the world.

As Jon and his friends dig, they learn more of the secret history of the world and discover the power of making deals with creatures from Beyond. However, power has its price, as Jon and his friends quickly discover. One-by-one they begin to become consumed by their own desires and hatreds.

Jon learns there is method behind the madness of his life, as his Father begins to bring him closer and closer into the ways of the cult. Ultimately, Jon must make a choice between all the pleasures of the earth and the future of his soul.

Chaos and Confusion – Educate Yourself

Chaos and Confusion – Educate Yourself

By Rebecca Besser

I don’t think anyone in the entire world feels stable right now. Everyday something new, wrong, questionable, messed up, and unreasonable is being thrown at everyone in an attempt to make them afraid or confused. Let’s face it…we’re not being given any form of comfort or reassurance about anything from anyone.

Instead we get lies from every angle. We all know we aren’t getting the truth, or at least the full truth. We all know to some extent we’re being violated in some way by what someone else says, wants, or does.

We’re left to try to sort things out, to find what’s real and what matters. The hardest part is that the same things don’t matter to everyone. There are so many views and angles that it just adds to the overall confusion. And no one seems to want to sort that confusion out in any way that will actually benefit anyone.

Unfortunately people are accepting the fear and hiding from anything remotely close to the truth. Why? Because they can’t face what acknowledging it would make them feel or realize. No one likes to find out they’re wrong, or that something they’ve said or done has caused harm rather than good. No one wants to find out they’ve believed lies and based their reality and actions on those lies. In response, they swallow those lies, and more lies, scream that they’re truth, and lash out at anyone who says different than what they’ve been told to believe. Yes, told.

Most people who believe lies don’t look for truth. They hear something and automatically believe it’s the truth, because they don’t believe the sources would lie to them. Instead of looking deeper into things, researching fact, reading, looking at things from the angle they believe and from the angle of opposition to evaluate if they’re wrong or there’s more to an issue, they just believe. They trust with blind faith. They follow because they’re scared of the feeling of not fitting in or being liked. Unfortunately this leads to more lies and confusion.

As human beings, this is a pit that we easily fall into. We’ve done it in the past and we’ll do it in the future. But if we’re aware of it, we can do better. We can search for those deeper meanings, the truth buried beneath the shiny lies, and build our existence on knowledge and not fear everything that’s thrown at us.

We don’t have to be afraid if we learn the truth.

Instead, each and every person can look deeper, stop blindly trusting or following or accepting without question everything that gets thrown in our faces by the world every day.

It’s a personal choice.

We can make a choice to educate ourselves. We have the power over our minds and our lives, but only if we accept it and do something about it.

We have to educate ourselves. We have to take responsibilities for our thoughts, our choices, and our actions.

Are you scared of COVID-19? Do research! Do you know how the disease and treatments work? Do you know how the tests work? Do you know if they’ve isolated the virus to create the “gold standard” for test accuracy? Do you know how accurate the tests are? Are there tests that are more accurate than others? Do you know how the numbers you’re being told have been compiled? Do you know what studies have been done on asymptomatic transmission? Do you know what studies have been done on the benefits/harms of masks? Do you know why there’s a conflict in procedure from one health agency’s suggestions to another’s? Do you know why your governor or other leader is making the decisions they’re making? Do you know what data/science your leader is making decisions based on? Do you know what age group of people are being affected in your area? Do you know your actual risks?

Are you afraid of what’s happening with politics? Do research! What’s the candidate’s track record on the issues that matter to you? How have they voted in the past? What have they done to benefit/harm on the issues that matter to you? How do they treat different economic/social groups that matter to you? What have they done (good or bad) that will tell you if that candidate is the one you want to support? What do they support as far as healthcare and choices, taxes, upholding the people’s rights, etc.? (I’m talking about mayors all the way up to country leaders, as people’s eyes have been opened up lately as to the local government’s involvement in their everyday lives.)

Are you interested or concerned about a movement and/or organization? Do research! What do they believe in? What’s their mission? What’s their end goal? Where does the money from donations actually go? How can you get involved in supporting/opposing? Why are they doing what they do? Are their claims valid?

You get the idea. Whatever is paramount in your mind or life: Do reseach!

You have the tools to educate yourself. You have to choose to do it. You have to choose to learn things for yourself. You have to ask the hard questions and find out what you believe and act on what you want.

Don’t leave your mind/thoughts and/or the basis of your actions up to anyone else. Don’t let their thoughts be your thoughts because you’re too lazy to find things out for yourselves.

Read the articles, watch the videos (or full videos if you’ve only seen shortened clips), and talk to someone who believes different than you who’s willing to discuss the topic in a calm, mature fashion.
